Option Years

As I have not been able to find a page that has this information available, I figured I would give it a shot. This information is unofficial and should not be used as fact, but as an educated guess based on what resources I do have. I have removed veterans with at least five years of service time in the majors (they can decline demotions), but have also included several non-roster players who are in the system and of note.

Players whose name appear in italics are out of options and would have to be designated for assignment. A (p) next to the year indicates that the option is pending as an option does not become official until 20 days in the minors have passed.

* - In regards to Jacob Lindgren, it's possible he's used two options. In 2015, he was optioned to the minors for three months. However, he spent the entire time on the minor league DL. I'm not sure if (1) the player has to be on the active roster for 20 days or (2) Lindgren's option was rescinded after his injury was found. Even if this does count as an option, he may still have two options left if a third option is used within five active seasons.
